President

Role Summary
Provides overall leadership and vision for the Athletic Boosters, ensuring the organization supports PHS athletics in a fair, transparent, and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary liaison between Boosters, PHS Athletic Director, and school administration

  • Lead Booster meetings and set meeting agendas

  • Oversee committees and ensure alignment with Boosters’ mission

  • Guide annual goals, priorities, and major initiatives

  • Represent Boosters at school and community events

  • Ensure compliance with bylaws, school policies, and nonprofit requirements

Skills / Traits

  • Strong leadership and communication

  • Ability to balance competing sport/program needs

  • Collaborative, diplomatic, and organized

Vice President

Role Summary
Supports the President and helps coordinate Booster activities and committees; steps in as acting President when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with strategic planning and execution of initiatives

  • Coordinate committee chairs and track progress

  • Lead special projects or initiatives as assigned

  • Assume President duties in their absence

  • Help onboard new board members and volunteers

Treasurer

Role Summary
Manages the financial health of the Boosters, ensuring transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of funds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and accounts

  • Prepare monthly financial reports for the board

  • Manage budgeting and cash flow

  • Process reimbursements and payments

  • Coordinate annual budget planning

  • Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial requirements

Skills / Traits

  • Financial literacy and attention to detail

  • Comfort with spreadsheets, accounting software, or bookkeeping

  • High integrity and trustworthiness

Secretary

Role Summary
Responsible for documentation, records, and communication that keeps the Boosters organized and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and distribute meeting minutes

  • Maintain official records, bylaws, and policies

  • Manage meeting notices and calendars

  • Track board attendance and voting records

  • Support communications between board members

Skills / Traits

  • Organized record-keeper

Online & Social Media Chair

Role Summary
Manages the Boosters’ digital presence to promote athletics, fundraising efforts, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain Boosters website and online platforms

  • Manage social media accounts (posting, updates, announcements)

  • Promote events, fundraisers, and athlete recognition

  • Coordinate with Fundraising and Membership chairs on campaigns

  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding

Skills / Traits

  • Comfortable with social media and basic web tools

  • Creative and timely communicator

  • Organized and responsive

Membership Chair

Role Summary
Builds and maintains Booster membership by engaging parents, families, and community supporters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage membership drives

  • Track memberships and renewals

  • Communicate benefits and opportunities to members

  • Coordinate welcome and onboarding efforts

  • Work with Fundraising and Communications on outreach

Fundraising Chair

Role Summary
Leads fundraising efforts to support PHS athletic programs in alignment with Boosters’ goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee fundraising campaigns and events

  • Coordinate with sport teams and coaches on approved efforts

  • Track fundraising performance and goals

  • Work with Treasurer on budgets and reporting

  • Recruit volunteers for fundraising activities

Alumni Relations Chair

Role Summary
Strengthens connections with PHS athletic alumni to build long-term engagement and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain alumni contact lists

  • Coordinate alumni communications and outreach

  • Support alumni-focused events or recognition efforts

  • Collaborate on alumni fundraising or sponsorship initiatives

  • Help preserve and promote PHS athletic history

  • Interest in legacy-building and storytelling


Apparel Chair

Role Summary
Oversees the planning, sourcing, and sale of Athletic Boosters apparel and spirit wear, helping promote school pride while generating revenue for PHS athletics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage Booster apparel and spirit wear offerings

  • Coordinate design, vendor selection, pricing, and ordering

  • Work with school administration and Athletic Department to ensure branding compliance

  • Manage inventory, ordering timelines, and distribution

  • Coordinate apparel sales at events, online, or through seasonal campaigns

  • Collaborate with Fundraising, Online & Social Media, and Membership chairs to promote sales

  • Track sales performance and coordinate with Treasurer on revenue reporting

Skills / Traits

  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Comfortable coordinating vendors and timelines

  • Good design sense and understanding of school spirit/branding
